Occupational Therapy Services

School Support

Classroom visits can be provided at private preschools and elementary schools in the Greater Boston area. Occupational therapy offers a strengths-based approach to address challenges impacting school participation, such as attention, sensory processing, emotional regulation, postural support, fine and gross motor skills, and problem solving.

Coaching for Caregivers

Virtual coaching for parents and caregivers is available for families located in Massachusetts and New Hampshire. These sessions can introduce helpful resources, explore strategies together, and support your child’s growth in specific developmental areas. Families are invited to share a short video of their child engaged in play or a daily routine at home, such as mealtime, as preparation for the coaching session and to guide the discussion.

Virtual occupational therapy sessions can be provided for the caregiver and child together, with a focus on supporting a specific skill area as determined through collaborative goal setting with the therapist and family.

Therapeutic Listening

Dandelion Therapy offers two therapeutic listening programs - the Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP) and the Integrated Listening System (ILS) - which can be introduced as part of your child’s occupational therapy plan. The SSP focuses on supporting nervous system regulation through music to create feelings of safety and calm. The ILS is designed to support multi-sensory processing, attention, and concentration, which are essential skills for school readiness and participation.
